Prelude to Aarde Empty Prelude to Aarde

Post by Admin Sun Nov 10, 2019 1:58 pm

Creation of Aarde

In the beginning there was only the empty void of Saohc, the entity of chaos and the representation of nothing itself. From the emptiness of the void came the Deitic Triumvirate of Htrib, Efil, Htaed. These three entities represented the cycle of creation in which all beings, from deity and mortal, would thus be judged by. They stand above all things and are worshiped as a whole, rather than as three separate entities. They came as a light that would illuminate and push back the endless void of Saohc. With their arrival came the first of the Deitic, Dniw the Deitic of the sky and wind and her twin sister Htare Deitic of the land. The sisters resided within the light of Triumvirate and expanded the entirety of the light, never daring to venture into the void. The sisters, desiring to show their appreciation to they deemed their creator, flourished in that Htrae created the green lush growth trees, flowers, fauna of all kinds. The sister, Dniw created the clouds and wind that would move them. The two creations working in unison came the Deitic Dnuos, deity of sound, which gave voice to the sister's so they could sing of their love of the Triumvirate. Moved by the this, the Triumvirate wept with joy at the beauty they beheld from the sister's. As a gift they granted them the tears they wept as a promise to always treasure and maintain these gifts, and so came the Deitic Retaw who would always keep the word of the Triumvirate ensure the gift of the sister's forever be maintained. The gift was then named Aarde and would deemed a paradise for all that dwell within it, and would be home to all things born under the light of the Deitic Triumvirate. The last to come into existence as a result of the light of the Triumvirate is Erif, the Deitic of fire and light. Though last to become noticed by the Triumvirate Erif existed since the arrival of the Triumvirate, being Erif was the light of the Triumvirate itself. From Erif, the light of the Triumvirate would shine bringing about an endless day for all time offering eternal light to Aarde.

Saohc, embodiment of the void, viewed these changes and grew jealous and sought to devour the creation of the Triumvirate. The void pressed in force upon Aarde, challenging the light of Erif and seeking to shroud Aarde in complete darkness; returning it to the void from which all things came. Thus the first of the battles that would rage for eternity began, a war of light and darkness. Seeking to ensure the salvation of their creations for the Triumvirate Dniw, Htare, Retaw, and Erif cried out to their creators and begged for a their protection. All but one of the Triumvirate offered assistance, Htrib being the entity closest to all creations gave down a blessing that would assistance the Deitic from the coming void. To each Hrtib granted the gift of creation and so that all Deitic could make what they needed to guard against the darkness. Efil, being of balance, offered only the wisdom of the Triumvirate so that all born from them understand their will. Htaed, denied assistance to the Deitic, stating only that the void is the eventuality of all things and thus would only observe the result. These were the final gifts of the Triumvirate who from then forward vowed to never intervene in the creations of Aarde and would stand only as the eternal watchers of the creations. Armed with the final gifts of the Triumvirate, the Deitic pushed back the void from the land of Aarde though were unable to truly banish it from the Aarde itself. The void had become as apart of Aarde as the Triumvirate itself, forever present for all eternity. Within the depths of Retaw's realm or the very core of the Htare herself, the presence of Soahc lingered. Only the light of Erif could truly banish the void, but by the end of the first war with the darkness it's light only could shine brightest for so long before Erif feel into a sleep. During this sleep the void would continually press on until Erif awoke and continued his eternal battle with the void. Dniw, whose very presence served as a protection from the void, would succumb to the darkness without the help from Erif. As she was the closest to the void of all the creations. In order to protect her sibling from being completely devoured, Htare created a globe from her very essence and asked that the two brothers, Erif and Retaw add their own as well, in this they would provide a light that could illuminate Dniw during the time of Erif's rest. Upon doing so the globe took on an existence of itself and became the first of second generation of Deitic, Ranul.

Ranul, oldest and wisest of all the second generation of the Deitic, was gifted the dominion of all things on Aarde; as he was imbued with the essence of all the first Deitic. His light alone pushed back the void in the times of Erif's resting, his very presence controlled the tides of Retaw, calmed the winds of Dniw, and shook the land's of Htare. So loved was he by the First Deitic that granted him dominion of Aarde and proclaimed him the keeper of it for all time. Thus when Erif arose from his slumber to battle the void, Ranul wandered the world of Aarde and learned every thing about in its entirety; whether great or small, and even traversed the darkest places of Aarde where the light of Erif would never touch. It was here met an unknown entity , a creation of the void dwelling in the deepest recesses of Aarde. She being a creature of the void, feared the light of Ranul and proclaimed that it was she that held dominion of the unknown void of Aarde. Only when Erif slept did she ever rise from her realm and walk the land of Aarde. Left alone by her own creator, she grew to resent the void and desired only to see observe the beauty of the First's creation. For it was she that also kept the void left by Soahc in the depths of Aarde, ensuring that it and the monstrosities within it remained in its depths for all eternity. Ranul, whom had traveled Aarde in its entirety knew well of the monstrous beings of the depths and saw the truth of her words. For such creatures would surely bring ruin to the land of Aarde if ever unleashed. Taking pity, Ranul brought forth the entity to the First Deitic whom were unaware of the existence of the void's creation and intended to banish her back to the void itself. It was the wisdom and pity of Ranul that assuaged the minds of the First, proclaiming that he himself would be her keeper and would battle the void within the depths of Aarde to ensure this. As he was loved by the First, they allowed for this and named the entity Amgine and bade her to forever remain at the side of Ranul. So overjoyed by this, Ranul and Amgine gifted each of the First with knowledge of the void that she carried within herself. To Dniw they gave the stars, which would illuminate the darkness along side Ranul himself during the sleep of Erif. Htare was give creatures from the depths that were touched by Ranul, that would inhabit the land of Aarde and enrich the land itself from their very presence. Retaw received the the gifts of clouds, so that he himself could stretch his dominion into the sky itself, allowing him to offer protection to his sister Dniw but also see the places where his dominion would be unable to touch or reach. And to Erif, who desired no gift, was still given the gift of all things that lay unknown in the depths of Aarde. Armed with this, he created a realm of molten fire and light within Aarde so that even in the darkest of places his light would still be present to combat the void. Pleased with this gifts, the First accepted Amgine as a Deitic and a protector of Aarde against the void.

As a result of the gifts from Amige came more entities Duolc of the clouds, considered more the child of Retaw than a gift from Amgine. Duolc served as the deliverer of Retaw's essence on Aarde and served as the vanguard of his rage in the form of storms which in turn gave birth Gninthgil, Deitic of Lightning and Storms. Serving in unison with each other, Duolc and Gninthgil would often resound loudly to ensure that the void recognized that Aarde was under their protection. The stars gifted to Dniw served as a means to offer protection in the form of Constellations that would combat the void as well as offer light to the realm of Aarde, assisted by the beloved Ranul who continued as the light that illuminated the Aarde during Erif's rest. In regard's to Erif, whose gift was only knowledge of the depths of Aarde, his creation of molten rock and flame in the deepest reaches of the world gave birth to Amgam the Deitic whose being is the molten rock itself. His essence remaining solely at the depth as he very presence alone on Aarde would burn all that come in contact with him. Thus the depths belonged him and he would be the main force that kept the monstrosities of the void living within the depths in constant check. As for Htare he gifts, they became the first living creatures of Aarde and are more often the naught ageless and divine in nature. These creatures range from the majestic unicorns who roam the many forests of Aarde to the fearsome dragons that traverse the land, skies, and even the waters of Aarde. As these and many more creatures were touched by Ranul, they roamed Aarde in harmony with one another, and enjoyed the blissful world with all its beauties. These creatures became to first living beings on Aarde that would offer worship to the Deitic, each devoted to varying Deitic entities which shaped and changed them as a result; this change depending greatly on whom they served with many creatures adapting to the environment they chose to reside. However, all creatures still bowed before Ranul and Amiga as it was they who delivered them from the void and gave them the chance to reside in the light. All these creatures even go so far as to view the two Deitic entities as the father and mother off all creatures. This love gave rise to the Deitic Evol, whose dominion is Love and Peace, whom was the born from this emotion and spread her presence among all things both Deitic and mortal for all time. Considered to be from the essence of the Triumvirate Deitic Htrib, Evol also held effect birth of new life as a result of love.

Prelude to Aarde Empty Re: Prelude to Aarde

Post by Admin Mon Jan 27, 2020 6:45 am

The arrival of the Onster and the creation of Specularium came the attention of Neitig who, upon looking upon the creation, grew eager to devour it. However, Neitig found this nigh impossible to do whilst the Onster guarded the creation; greatest among these being Vuurei whose great light proved the natural enemy. It was because of this that Vuurei was deemed the strongest of the Onster, despite Tydei being the first. Wanting to ensure that Specularium always remained protected, Vuurei created the first beings to inhabit; beings of pure light and spirit. The beings served as the keepers of Specularium and endured to ensure Neitigs influence never come to it. The Sterre, as they were called, were gifted with eternal life and embued with the Light of Vuurei. Together the Sterre pushed back the darkness when Vuurei slept, working alongside Hidro.

The Sterre were uncountable in number as they were as the stars in the sky, most giving thier attention to the protection of Specularium. The few that did often descended upon the creation when Vuurei was awake or during the day, and traversed the creation in it's entirety. As only forests, rivers, and mountains covered Specularium the few Sterre who descended decided to split the rolls of governing and maintaining the creation. Some Sterre also sought to align themselves with certain Onster, these taking up areas that often fall under precise nature of an Onster. The Sterre that didn't fall under the nature of an Onster took on the governance of certain emotions, this actually being the creation of emotions on Specularium.

The greatest of the Sterre who descended, Majai, governed all magic and spread it's influence in all things on Specularium that existed and would come into existence. It was decided by all among the descended Sterre that it would be Majai who would also govern the descended, as he was deemed the wisest of all Sterre. With him came Isha, who governed the waters of Specularium, whose temperament was ever-changing and unpredictable. Isha held the greatest fondness for the Onster Hidro and would often be affected by his presence. The Sterre, Graia, was most lived by Vuilei as she respected and loved the creation more than any Sterre; thus governed the land itself, always serving in the best interest of Vuilei. It would be Graia who created the first creatures of Specularium to exist; dragons, unicorns, treelings, Giants, and numerous other creature considered mythical in nature. These first also given the gift of eternal life by the Sterre.

After the creation of the first creatures, Neitig grew hungrier to devour Specularium. However, knowing that it was protected by the Onster and the Sterre, the darkness decided that corrupting the Sterre would better see it's intentions come to fruition. As stated, all Sterre not of the nature falling under an Onster took on an emotion. For those that did were ultimately empowered and protected by the Onster. It would be the Sterre of emotions that were least empowered by the Onster. The Sterre of Pride, Envy, Greed, Wraith, Lust, Gluttony, and Sloth proved to be the most corruptible and were enticed by the secrets of the darkness. They were each empowered by Neitig and as a result became monstrosities to behold. By siding with the darkness, these 7 Sterre worked to corrupt Specularium from inside out; by way of thier actions corrupting all living things that would be enticed by them.

The corruption grew to such an extent that eventually Neitig was able to slip a portion of itself into Specularium. Comparable to the Onster, Skaduei as it called, descended upon Specularium and shrouded the southern most region of Specularium in darkness; no light ever shining within the land and serving as a home to all things corrupted. The 7 corrupted Sterre took refuge under Skaduei and became the first of the demons or Duiwei, making all corrupted creatures take on the very same nature. The coming of Skaduei enraged the uncorrupted Sterre, who were created to protect Specularium and sought to remove Skaduei and the Duiwei. Calling upon the creatures who remained uncorrupted, the Sterre mobilized an army of the light to root out the darkness. In turn, Skaduei mobilized all the Duiwei and corrupted creatures to meet them in battle.

These great battles shook Specularium to the core and carved out much of the land, the death toll increasing greatly on both sides. The battles came to a head when Majai meet the 7 Duiwei in combat, an event that saw the 7 Duiwei be destroyed in the physical form and banished from the realm of the living. Skaduei, being an Onster, retreated at the loss of his generals and was also sealed within the lands shrouded in darkness. In order to ensure his sealing, Majai bound the Onster into a mountain that immediately erupted in fire and molten rock. This volcano brought a small amount of light to the land of darkness and so long as it remained active, Skaduei would remain sealed. This prison would also become the prison on the Duiwei's spiritual essence. The creatures corrupted by Skaduei and the Duiwei would scatter throughout the world, without direction proving to be nothing more than a minor threat.

By the wars end, Specularium had changed a great deal going from one massive landmass surrounded by water to five landmasses. These being the land of the Eastlund, Westlund, Northlund, Southlund, and Midlund; all of which were separated by massive seas. While originally saddened by this, the Sterre sought to rebuild Specularium and create new life as a result. Graia, the Sterre to closest to Vuilei, requested the knowledge of creation to which the Onster obliged. With help of Isha, Graia used this knowledge to create the first humanoid beings to inhabit the new Specularium. To the east the created the first beings, the Elvein who were closest to the Sterre and most like them. However, due to thier long lifespans that stretched thousands of years they proved to far removed from the concerns of the world. The next to be created were the Deirlings, who inhabited the western most landmass. These being made from the creatures who existed due to the creation of the Onster; the mythical creatures and animals. However, these were more beast-like in nature and cared little for those not of thier kind. The next were the Dwarvein, who inhabited the the northernmost landmass. However, immediately upon creation they showed more desire to dig deep into Specularium and cared little for the goings-on with the surface world; as a result the northernmost landmass remained practically untouched. The last to be created were the humans, who were deemed the perfect creation. Their lives were significantly shorter thus they possessed more appreciation of life than humanoid that existed in Specularium.

The southern landmass remained untouched by the Sterre, as the land itself still remained shrouded in darkness; save the volcano that served as a prison to Skaduei and the 7 Duiwei. The land itself was home to all creatures corrupted in the first war, aside from those who possessed means to escape the land; whether by flying, swimming, or magic.
